Going through the process of creating a checklist was beneficial because I was able to put everything needed in one location and I also made sure to add my course learning outcomes in a dropdown menu option. Once the checklist was created and I had the opportunity to put it to use I found myself really analyzing the OER that I found. It made the process simple and allowed me to stay focused on the specific things that needed to be present and making notes to what wasn't included. Having a guide to assist when analyzing different OER's is important and will ensure all of the required elements are included. I'm looking forward to continue to use my checklist and grow in my expertise when it comes to finding appropriate OER's.
